Dr. Omar Al-Khatib serves as Director of AI Research & Innovation at ICS AI University, where he leads the University's research strategy, innovation ecosystem, and the development of next-generation artificial intelligence solutions for education and society.
He is responsible for establishing research priorities, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, building strategic academic partnerships, supervising AI innovation initiatives, and promoting responsible research practices across the University.
Working closely with the Chief AI Officer and the University's executive leadership, Dr. Al-Khatib transforms emerging technologies into practical educational solutions that improve teaching, learning, governance, and institutional excellence.
His leadership ensures that ICS AI University remains at the forefront of ethical artificial intelligence research while encouraging collaboration between academia, industry, and government.
