Prof. Dr. Amelia Thompson

Prof. Dr. Amelia Thompson serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of ICS AI University, where she provides executive leadership for the University's enterprise operations, institutional performance, digital transformation, strategic execution, operational governance, and service excellence. She is responsible for ensuring that the University's vision is translated into efficient, scalable, and measurable operational outcomes across all campuses, academic divisions, administrative offices, and enterprise platforms.

With more than thirty years of executive leadership experience in higher education administration, organisational transformation, enterprise operations, and strategic programme management, Prof. Dr. Thompson has successfully led large-scale institutional modernisation initiatives involving digital campuses, enterprise governance, business process optimisation, operational excellence, and organisational performance management.

As Chief Operating Officer, she oversees University Operations, Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO), Campus Administration, Facilities & Infrastructure, Business Process Excellence, Student Services Operations, Operational Analytics, Health, Safety & Security, and Institutional Performance Management. She works closely with the Vice Chancellor and Executive Leadership Team to ensure seamless coordination across academic, administrative, technological, and operational functions.

Prof. Dr. Thompson is recognised internationally for her expertise in operational strategy, enterprise transformation, AI-enabled university operations, and organisational leadership. She believes that sustainable institutional success is achieved when governance, technology, people, and operational excellence function together within a unified enterprise ecosystem.
